Social distancing and our parish plan:
To maintain adequate distances between individuals or families in church, the total capacity in church will be in the neighborhood of 80-90. Our ushers will be in charge of seating all who come to Mass. Single individuals must be seated six feet apart; couples and families who live together can sit together, but six feet from others. To maximize capacity, we may need to re-seat some folks. Please be understanding. We will place speakers and chairs outside church for those who cannot be accommodated inside. You may also watch Mass from your car and enter church for Holy Communion.
If parishioners and guests alike, could give us a "show of hands" if you plan to attend Mass at St. Remy Church the week of May 25-31 it would be beneficial for all. This will simply help us to plan accordingly, and allow you to see what Masses have more space available. Signing up does not guarantee you a seat inside, nor do you have to sign up to attend. This is simply the best plan that we could think of to allow people to see when there will be a crowd.
